2010 M-net Cares “Drive for the Cause”
M-NET Cares, in association with Cloud9Golf and Spice4Life, aims to assist Cause Marketing Fundraisers by assisting with their breast cancer awareness campaign and embarking on an aggressive corporate social responsibility programme supporting the PinkDrive initiative.
Cloud9Golf will be driving the M-NET Cares 'Drive for the Cause' campaign through 30 golf events, in partnership with golf clubs nationwide, as well as three flagship golf events in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Kwa-Zulu-Natal.
Golf events
- M-NET Cares 'Drive for the Cause' 30 breast cancer ambassador golf days
- Ladies captain (or club captain) raising the most money will qualify for a week for two in Mauritius, compliments of World Leisure Holidays and with car rental sponsored by First Car Rental (valued at R57 000).
- The above captain will also receive R150 000 in prizes, goodie bag fillers and competitions for another charity golf day hosted by her club.

- Kwa-Zulu Natal Umhlali Country Club: 26 October 2010
- Men are welcome and will be permitted to tee off ladies tees provided pink shirts are worn with bras on top
- M-NET Cares 'Take it Off' bra campaign
- Old or new bras can be dropped off at The Golfers Club outlets nationwide.
- Currently 93 000 bras have been collected and another 47 000 are needed to comfortably beat the Guinness World Record.
- Once the record is broken, the bras will be distributed to women who require prostheses, as well as those who cannot afford to buy a bra.
